Best Wishes in 2017!

Hi Students, Friends, and Everyone,
I just wanted to wish you all the best in the New Year. Which may sound awfully optimistic and positive, but you can consider it payback for all the good you've done me and by natural extension, friends, colleagues and family. It may seem inconsequential and silly but I have been buoyed by your commitment to pilates and health. I have found I can't stomach the news or even fb as much as I used to and I desperately need some good news and cheer to break up the day. So again, thanks and Happy, Happy New Year!

Here are some ideas for boosting your fitness level this month, and on into the new year at the Mark Morris Dance Center. The School is offering a special deal of 5 classes for $50, can't beat that with a stick!

Beginning Pilates Mat at 6pm, Intermediate Pilates Mat at 7pm.

Nicole Restani does:
Stretch and Core Strengthening
Tuesdays 8:30-10am
Saturdays 9-10:30am

And...
My intro to pilates mat: Pilates Basics, Thursdays at 6:30 pm. This month we are starting up our next round of classes. Over the next few months we will touch on Joseph Pilates' 6 Principles of Movement: Breath, Flow, Control, Precision, Center, Concentration. Join us any time for a great introduction to the Pilates mat work. 

Our first few classes start at the beginning and in the beginning was breath. Come learn how to apply breath to Pilates form and function.
